Malware is a program that installs without you noticing and can steal your information, get into your accounts, or control your device.
To protect yourself
Download apps only from the App Store or Google Play. Avoid APK files, free "premium versions," or modified apps.
Never install remote access apps like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or others, even if someone asks you to "help" or "protect your account."
Check your app permissions from time to time and remove any that request unnecessary access to your data.
Use trusted security tools, such as an antivirus, to detect malicious programs.
Don't share your personal or banking information with third parties.
Create strong passwords that are different for each account, and change them from time to time.
Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) when available to add an extra layer of protection.
